Literary Analysis

The easiest part so far on the draft was making the introduction. Although, it took me a while to figure out how to start the introduction. Once I got the first sentence, I was able to find more ideas that led into my thesis. One thing that helped me make my introduction was looking at other examples of introductions. The examples were all similar in how they were set up, so that gave an idea of how I should set up my introduction.

Even though I have not gotten to my conclusion yet, I feel like that it will be the hardest part of the draft. I have actually read an essay to see what the conclusions is like. Similarly to my introduction I need to see how the conclusion is set up, so that I have an idea for how to set up mine. For those who are struggling with their conclusion or introduction I would recommend reading some examples of them. Even though I haven't gotten to my conclusion yet, I believe that it will help me, because it definitely helped me with my introduction.

  1. I agree that the introduction was a difficult part of writing the rough draft. I like how you explain the importance of the introduction and conclusion of any paper.

  2. Casey, Im surprised it was easy for you to come up with the introduction. I feel that it was the hardest part of my rough draft. I also looked at examples in Canvas and found it helpful.
